Dyno tune...finally

Pretty self-explanatory, 302hp/317tq on a Dynojet. And for all of those who don't think that a tune is necessary after a decent h/c/i swap, I was running 10.5:1 air/fuel pre-tune...

Twisted Wedge heads
Stage 1 cam
Track Heat intake
1.6 rockers
70mm TB
76mm MAF
255lph pump w/ fpr
30lb injectors
Smog/AC delete
Underdrive pullies
Long tubes
Offroad H-pipe

I think that's about it for as far as stuff that will affect horsepower. But I'm tired, and I'm going to bed. I'll get some pics of the printouts tomorrow

Said it before and Ill say it agin, all of those out there running untuned HCI combos saying driveability is perfect are only kidding themselves. Even with the A9L, the supposed toaster oven of computers when it comes to mods my car was not even fun to drive. Ran extremely rich and part throttle it hesitated and surged left and right not to mention stalling while coming to a stop. Got it tuned and the A/F is perfect at 13.1 and the only time it bucks is around 1200 rpm off the gas.

BTW congrats, its nice seeing the numbers knowing you did the work. Makes it that much more gratifying

It all depends on the shop you go to.

I want to take mine here to get it tuned:

I had preplanned a bit, and set up an appointment for a tune beforehand. I idled it for 30min, changed the oil, drove it real easy (didn't take it above 3k) for 3 hours, then drove it the half hour to the shop. A total of 4 hours of easy break-in time. It ran decently well, a bit rough obviously and it bucked in the lower rpm's, but it was definitely driveable without too many problems. It was running pig rich, of course, but not bad otherwise

9165pt0- it'll vary from shop to shop, but for a n/a car you can expect to pay somewhere around $450-600.
