Need Hlp with wheel Hop
K i have been reading through the old threads about people and their wheel hop.. Now I bought some non adjustingupper and lower comp engineering control arms for the rear, and they have both urthane bushings on the end.. I've been readin that people say they suck and don't help with wheel hop..
I also have the eibach drag launch spring kit , the one with the air bag in the p/s rear, also have the lake wood drag shocks 50/50......I also removed my quad shocks cause i was told i could if u upgrade the other ****. But ever since i changed my rear end gears from a 3.08 to 4.10.. I get retardedddddddddddddddddddddddd Wheel hop, like the car is goin to shake itself to death. I have subframe connectors already welded in and the lower torque plates welding in.. Now what should i do to stop this mad wheel hop.. any help from the mustang guru's would be appreciated..
thx for the help

No urethane bushings do not help. Delrin is a little better. Just out of curiosity, what kind of tires are you running in the back? Basically your suspension lends itself to transferring power to the rear wheels, but if your tires don't grab, it can create harmonics.

Sure... Well if you have small tires like you do, without very good traction, the tires will begin to spin. With the best suspension in the world that rotation is going to create a harminic like stated above. This harmonic is what creates the wheel hop, and once wheel hop starts, there's no stopping it. A good set of 255/60/16 drag radials would resolve your problem. I pulled a 1.85 60ft. with just upper/lower control arms, and 90/10 struts, absolutely no wheel hop.
