yeah, thats a loaded question

depends on cubic inches
rpms
heads
cam

Whats it going on? You need to match ALL your parts
not just start throwing stuff on.
plan your build and build your plan.

i havea 306, e303, rebuilt heads bigger valves, 410s in the rear. but what im really doing is switching to from efi to carb. ive been told the RPM with 650cfm carb will be fine. i just wanna see if there is any other combo that give me more power. let me know what yall think.

I'd stay with the 650 and maybe try to borrow some differant intakes just to see which one your car 'likes' the best........

i have a barry grant speed demon 650 that has about 1 month runtime on it (hell probably only 100 miles) i'll sell for 60 bucks less than the cheapest place i could find new..... thats the cost of a new 625 road demon from ebay which is what i need for the lower compression 289 im downsizing to. i still have the tuning DVD and the extra secondary spring assortment to go with the carb too.

lemmie know if your interested, they are badass carbs

Well, there are way better cams than the Ford alphabet cams. But with a cam that size, you'd prolly be best off with a Performer or a Weiand Action Plus(they have a new one out now too). If it's more for racing, then prolly the RPM...and what has been done to the heads? Also something like a 600cfm would most likely make the best power, 650 if you have good heads/cam for a race setup

what kind of cam would be better for a race setup? i really want to get the most from this block before going 351.im really leaning to go with a 600cfm though. they placed a little bit bigger valves, 5 angle vavle job, resurfaced and dual springs.
