My rings are shot and I used to have a pvc problem but i fixed that i think. And that intake has been on their forever. It was a pain to clean but I got most of it back to the original color

I had that problem with mine. Wound up rebuilding the whole thing. Mine was so bad it kept gunking up the EGR system and throwing codes for a bad EGR position sensor. Of course I replaced the pcv valve prior to anything else.
