My winter mod list this last year....

Adjustable fuel pressure rgualtor
70mm TB
Custom EGR delete spacer
MAF convertion(with 70mm MAF) I think that is what made it slower
Ported upper and lower intakes(nothing crazy...well, not too crazy anyways)
Ground the welds in the headers off
BBK off road X pipe(went from an H pipe)
Weight jacker control arms
Torque box reinfocements
MT ET Streets 255/60/15
and a bunch of other misc things that add up to around 350 bones

Previos mods:

3.73 gears
Ported and decked E7's
1.7 RR
electric fan
cold air
aluminum drive shaft
eleminated smog
under drives
MSD coil
FRPP wires
Shorty equal headers
H pipe(swapped for the X)
flowmaster cat back
subframes
boxed control arms

that is about it for power modsI guess......

I think I need to do a bit more tuning and I will give it another go...I want 13.5 or better. I was spinning the tires pretty bad leaving at 4000(Ihave amaunal)..had to lift a little couple of times. I was running 15psi in the tires and heating them a little. I am happy to say I didn't have any wheel hop though, but I have a lotroom to improve.

your spinning your et streets with a 4000rpm launch? maybe you just arent heating those tires well enough because you should hook real well

I didn't have anyone with me to watch, that would have helped. I don't think I was getting them hot enough, but i didn't have the nerve to do a burn out in second gear yet.

Maybe I need to put a stock lower intake back on to find out if I overported it....I don't know. Or just buy a blower and be done with it

Yep, I did the same thing when I first got my DR's.. Took about 5-10 passes before I found the right about of time to warm them up. but boy once you get them warm enough, you'll know. When I hooked really well the first time I was looking at the sky! It was a rush! Heat them up better next time and 13.5's should be easy to surpass.

The MAF conversion should not have made you slower, maybe the 70mm MAF is too big for a fairly stock motor.

he's been told this, he just doesn't believe it. along with having a TB that is the same size, you are losing intake velocity.

Well it wouldn't be so bad as long as he has a stock TB or maybe a 65mm TB.

I have a 76mm maf, and a 70mm TB, with a stock intake and motor, I don't have any problems.
