They look like they are, but how bout some #'s? E7 is the HO and truck head. E6 is 86 (worse than E7's). They are not GT40's or P's, I can tell you that much.

They have a little plate screwed on that says 8172,

how much hp can u expect to gain with a gt-40 head swap on a stock 5.0? and could you gain just as much with a set of E7s tht have been ported?

good question, im cleaning up and painting these for my 5.0 swap, should I port them or just rebuild the stock motor with a cam, headers and holley 750?
