i dont ever recall hearing someone run hyper pistons under a 500 HP output. unless they were super high quality and that costs $$$$ that our friend shouldnt waste when he can get decent forged ones. again its also how the car is tuned, not just what is in the motor... lotta variables involved, you cant just point at one specific thing and say 'this works that works' everything works if your car is tuned!!!!
go to www.speedomotive.com and read some of their technical articles about pistons and compression ratios and you might learn a little something about pistons.

then what is all this talk about 'forged this' and 'forged that' ... i personally never heard of hyper pistons being abused, guess they are really high quality.

i read the section on hyper pistons, i still woudnlt run that summit kit at 500 HP though.
