$80 total parts, maybe 4 hours labor, with air tools. the passenger side valve cover is kinda hard to get out, if i recall correctly.
dont buy cork valve cover gaskets. get rubber.

its true i need to take the upper intake off to get to it right?

no air tools :-(

i'll tell ya what, those are some shiny freakin wheels. wanna trade?

you can use silicone for the water pump gasket, but use it sparingly. dont glob it on there, just a thin line or real thin coating.
upper intake has to come off to do the valve covers

your gonna need a harmonic balancer puller to get it off, as well. you can buy one for about $25 at autozone, or rent it if your really hard off for cash. they will also pull steering wheels, so its a multi purpose tool

thats good to know if i ever need to take my steering wheel off. which i want to put a quick disconnect one on...
damn, just sank a whole lotta money into it just to get it to pass smog. figures when you get one thing taken care of. another thing pops up.

those gaskets are easy to replace

waterpump should be about $30-40

valve covers.. u can get some nice ones for like $100 or go to a junky

balancer is about $60

yeah thats why i love everyone here. only forum i stick to. sorry bout the images, im my adobephotoshop i thought they were sized good, forgot it was still zoomed out at 80%. my bad. plus my widescreen lappy makes everything smaller. anyways thanks again for all the help. got quite a project on my hands if you ask me.
