Ok my car is going to have all the body parts on pretty soon from my wreck. The only thing that isn't going smoothly is my radiator fan will not come on. I know the fan itself is fine I plugged it into my friends car. I have let my car get beyond the H and the fan still doesn't come on. It seems that my car has an extra wire running rite off the wire the actually plugs into the fan. My friends car doesn't have that...at least not in the same spot, although his is a 98 v6. Does this wire plug into to something??? All my fuses are good...

Some one tell me something else I can try Please!

Maybe the wire goes to some type of contol box, mu buddys 97 tbird has a box near the passenger front bumper that controls the fan. you may also want to check the temp sensor and see if it works and is wired up. I own a fox, but I have worked on several cars that use an electric fan.

Here's a quick test to do.......

1. Reconnect rad-fan.
2. Start engine and let it idle
3. Disconnect the Coolant sensor (ECT) (RH side on the engine, not the single wire temp sender)
4. The rad-fan should start.....if not, you may have a wiring problem, or a faulty IRCM (Integrated Relay Control Module)

Thanks alot guys, I'm am gunna try that stuff out in a little while when I am fully awake. Any other opinions?

Mine did the same thing. Mine is hot wired to a toggle switch inside my car now that turns the fan on.
