cash the check,
sell it as is flood damage,
honestly if you have the time, a wiring harness and alot of cleaning can make you a few grand selling it, id check the local yards and internet for misc things, like column etc.
My buddies that got flooded, he gutted the interior and made it a drag/strip car, with his check and still pocketed a grand[&:]
