Default should i consider buying this?

right down the street from me there is a 1995 cobra. black. only 17k miles. removable hardtop, cloth convertable. 03 04 cobra wheels with nitto drag radials. long tubes, pro chamber, flowmaster dumps. but if you buy it you get all the stock stuff it had originally. they want 21k for it. should i trade my 05 ford F-150 for it?

21's pretty steep, even with the ridiculously low mileage. Sounds like a good find if you can talk the guy down quite a bit though.

well i have a good bit of equity in the f150. i got it apraized at 14,400 and i only owe 7,500. so i thought maybe if i could get him to 18k and a good trade in or if he took the truck for 15,000 i would be happy. still too much you think??

I wouldn't pay 18 unless it was as close to a 100 point car as possible. This car would have to have been garaged year round since purchase and what not. For you it depends on what your intentions are. If you love the car and you feel you wouldn't be able to get one in the same type of condition with the same miles then it becomes worth considering. I would pay above what most people would pay for a teal 93 cobra with low mileage because I have like a fetish with the car lol. I think that if it is pretty clean then I would be willing to pay 16, but ifthe 95 cobra has atype of personal value to you then it could easily be worth 18 for you.

yea i thought it was steep too. i think if i end up with 14k that would sound fair....does it to you guys? this isnt like my dream car or anything, my 89 is but shes currently under interior restoration. but that 95 is in such good condition, there isnt even scratches around the keyhole, car fax is clean, only 1 owner and thats all that on there.but 17k on a 12 year old car? could there be any reason why i didnt wanna buy it? give me some cons that why i have something to bargain with in there

'95 Cobras with the removable hardtop are extremely rare as they only made 499 of them. We had one at our dealership with 4200 miles and I think we sold it for high teens, I would say around 16-17k is a decent price for it.
