Default Rearend/driveshaft question

1. Should I put my rear sway bar back on my car or just toss it? This Stang isn't going to be a DD. It's just for fun. I installed a set of Summit UCA's and LCA's, and sphereical bushings. I also got rid of my quad shocks.

2. I installed a driveshaft from a 1993. It looks different then my 1990. The 1990 has what looks like a harmonic balancer on the end that goes into the trans., and the 1993 doesn't. The 1993 is also about a 1/4 inch shorter. Does any of this matter?

As Always Thanks for the help

the 1990 driveshaft probably had vibrating issues before the balancer was put on or it might have come with that idk.... justguessing...i wouldnt think the 1/4 inch difference would matter since there is alot of room for the driveshaft to move anyways (in and out of the tranny)

1) keep the sway bar, Fox body's need the added stability in corners
2) the balancer was indeed just that, a balancer. I don't know what the specific reason for your '90 balancer vs the '93 without other than as stated. Maybe the '90 was balanced to fix a problem or it's just the way they did it then.

The reason I changed the driveshaft was because of a bad vibration when I would hit 60 MPH and faster. I knew it wasn't an out of balancewheel, so my next logical choice was to try replace the driveshaft. I haven't been able to drive it yet to see if that fixed the problem. I think maybe that balancer is what was making it vibrate.

I guess I will put the sway bar back on if it needs it. I'll try to get pics of the install this weekend and then post them on here.
