Is this part off the gas tank or a seperate piece?

My friend was driving behind me today and he noticed something dripping from my exhaust so I guess its leaking gas on to the tip off my tail pipe[:@]

I think he means "fill" tube.

In other news.. I'll be dropping my tank this weekend as well (weather permitting.) Time to drop in the new 255lph pump :D

I do not think that you have to drop the tank to replace the fill tube.....

But if you want to put a new pump in there....you do.

i just fixed my gas leak, put a 190lph in then a month later smelled gas, found the gas line was rusty and had a whole near tank, replaced both with s.s lines almost $250 then still had leak, turns out hole in the tank near top, leaked only when filled but put new tank in as well. the filler tube goes into tank pretty far, might have to drop tank some
