Default New toy for the wife

Hey guys, this is my first foray into the 5.0 section. My wife finally got to pick up her new toy/project car today. Needs some TLC and some body work, but sounds mean as hell. I'm trying to find the full list of mods from the former owner to post up, but I do know it is running an E303 cam and (obviously) a Cobra intake. She hasn't really humped down on the fun pedal yet so still don't know how strong it will run.

I'll get the full list of mods as soon as I find it.

$2800. I feel a better deal could be had, but the little lady had her heart set on this one. This is her 5th mustang, and her third Fox body. She'd owned an 84 and an 89.........and wanted another one by all means after wrecking her 98 last year.

Yea, looks like the guy went with a bigger MAF as well. This is my first time getting to know the 5.0 motor, so it looks like I'll have to start coming hang with you guys in the future.

What's the mileage on it, it looks like a good deal if it really just needs paint and if the interior looks decent. I have an 06 and have seen your posts over there but have been dedicating some time into the 5.0 section since i'm going to purchase a 5.0 in a few days and leave the 06 alone for a while since a blower is the last thing I need and i'm just not in the situation that I want to pay that.

It looks like you have underdrives, but that blue pulley may have been painted(you never know with people these days ).

127K miles. Motor was rebuilt 40K miles ago. It has some quirks that need fixing.........driver side outter door handle is loose, driver side mirror needs fixing, balljoints up front need replacing, stupid security system in it is buggy and needs to be ripped out. Fortunately, my wife has her police unit Malibu to get around town in still............so it gives usa chanceto fix the 5.0 a little at a time. As I said, it'll be a project car. Plus I know a dozen and one guys who've built 5.0's in the past to help out if need be.
