WTF guys...???
a few days ago I went to the store and on my way back the car backfired and turned off... I opened the dist. and found that the rotor had lost the metal piece so I figured put a new one in and boom so i did. It started and I almost made it home until it backfires again andturns off same way. I opened the dist and moved the shaft it was loose. I changed the distributor and the car started again and ran well. Until yesteday when i wanted to go to work it turned off on me again "no backfire". I figured ok its maybe the module or the coil so I replaced them today and no start...????there is fuel and the pump is pumping its a spark issue what could it be???????????

RE: WTF guys...???
I'm guessing you replaced the cap and rotor when you replaced the distributor? Also, check ur plugs/wires. Or your actual ignition. Check your grounds as well, the negative cable on the battery and the cable that goes to the starter. Is the car cranking, or just clicking, or nothing at all?

I know it is stupid...but check the order of your wires on the distributor....if you switched two wires around....it will backfire
...and I am not saying this because I did it or anything

RE: WTF guys...???
Thats what i thought so i bought a new module and msd blaster coil.I started the car and let it run until it died and when it did i changed the module cranked it over no start. Then i changed the coil thinking it would do the trick and no start.
I'm puzzled and by the way my module is bolted to the fenderwell not the distributor its a 94.
