Default Thinking about a 351w

Is a 351w a good engine for track racing? Its bored .040 over and hes asking 700 plus shipping sounds like a deal to me. I just need new motor mounts and a new oil pan correct?

0. 24lb injectors if using F/I and Maf for those

1.PC/AC bracket/alternator(forgot)

2.Oil Pan.

3.Poly Motor Mounts.

4.351w Dizzy with Hardened Gear.

5.351 trickflow etc, upper and lower intake.

6.Gasket Package.

7.Oil and Oil Filter.

8.351w swap Shorties for AOD, Long Tubes T-5 manual transmission.

$ Have $1,000 saved $, so this stuff dont take you by suprise or get the motor now and take your time
