are the plenum spacers worth the extra money. i'm taking my intake off to replace the injectors and might put one on. do they affect the throttle linkage? the spacer comes with longer bolts. if i get the 3/8 will it clear my stock hood on my 89 lx? if they make no difference i might as well just get a new gasket for the 6 bucks instead of 50 for the spacer

i can touch my upper intake with my bare hand imediately after shutting the motor down. i have a 1" spacer tho. used to have a 3/8" spacer but when i got a cowl hood on i went with a bigger spacer
