Hey guys whats up Im new here and I have a 1989 Mustang gt with racing seats in it. I wanna get rid of the seats because they arent that comfortable. Does anyone know if any seats from any other cars will fit ours. I saw a couple nice black leather ones in a lincoln ls car. I dont know if they can be adjusted to fit or what. Whatta you guys think and do you know any seats thatll adapt?>

well anything can be "adjusted" to fit

79-04 mustang seats are direct fit

so the seat tracks and everything would be direct fit on an 89 if say i got ones from 03

thats so funny,a friend of mine offered his stock seats out of his 98 for only $100! He said their like new, and the same color as my interior, he now hasleather seats from a cobra.
I didnt know if they would fit or not, that rocks
I wonder how much a juck yard would want fora nice set of seats from a stang?

They will bolt in but the electrical connections are a little different, make sure you get the plug end from the car if possible, if not you can switch ends from your old seats if they have the connectors on them. Not sure with the racing seats tho

a junk yard wi charge 50 to a 100 usualy depending if you have to take them out or if they do

I called the junkyard today and he insisted everything was different on the seats i told him no they will bolt right ujp and he freaked out on me, but up to an 04 will directly bolt up using the newer seats track also correct???
