Tire Inflation Question??????

Default Tire Inflation Question??????

Hey guys got a quick question, Ok so i laid some rubber last night and for one my tires dont squeal, and i looked back behind me and there was barely any rubber on the road, the contact patch was wierd there were no marks in the middle just to faint line on the outsides, what could be causeing this???? I just want my tire to make some noise the are bridgestone 275/40s Pontuzas or something like that,could it be tom much air. b/c i have about 19 lbs in them now

Yes, put 32-35 psi in them. Hell I run 15 PSI in my drag radials when I'm at the track lol.

sounds like you have too little air, radial tires tend to cup when the air pressure is decreases since the side walls are so stiff. If your tires were over inflated you would have a stripe in the ceter with nothing on the outer edges. Read the tire i'm sure the for a radial tire the recommended psi isn't 19, its prob in the 30's. Inflate it and try it out I bet you'll see a difference. Airing down radial tires is not a good idea since it actully decreases the surface are in contact with the road.
