Default 3.8 thunderbird V6 Supercharger on a 5.0 ??????

Has anyone else ever heard of this or done this? I read about it once but cant find it again. This would be a good cheap way to get some more power out of a stang. If anyone has any information whatsoever on this, please let me know. Any info is greatly appretiated!!!! The reason im so interested, I know of a guy in my area who rigged one on a Monte Carlo with a 305 and made a huge diffrence.

Be careful how you use the word cheap when talking about this. From what I understand, it can be done, but it requires A LOT of fabrication to make it work effectively. Also, those chargers produce a lot of heat.

so do u think i could spray mine about 75 or 100 and not have any trouble. I dont want to take away from the life of my engine because we all know how expensive that can get. I know it would be a lot easier to get the hp through the bottle rather than fooling with heads and blowers and sh*t like that. Also, what is the best way to activate the nitrous. My buddies all rig up a switch on theirs that is a button they hold in their hand and squeeze to get the juice, would a WOT switch be better. I dont think i am coordinated enough to activate through a switch that is built into the shift ball so thats out of the question. Just lookin for some economical and effective gains without spendin too much $$. Im open for suggestions. I have a 306 with bolt ons, GT40 intake, #24 inj, E303, MSD 4.10's and so on, just the usual stuff.

yes it can be done easy. get a dry kit, yes i said dry and run eithe ra 75 or 100 shot. the Zex kit is great. hook up in an hour and runs off WOT tps sensor. all you need to do is activate it by hitting arming switch then when you go wot it signals and activates teh solonid in the box. with this kit and ony 780 psi and a 75 my buddies truck knocked off 1.3 seconds and gained 8mph
