right, see id like to do it, but the situation isnt allowing it, hell im getting a quadrant and cable in a week or two, not right away, again because of $$ issues. i had to borrow some from the rents to get the clutch, simply because my clutch is THAT bad... i cant go up hill in 5th, i have to drop 4th, and every gear, i have to feather...i forget what doughnuts and burn outs are, lol. all cuza some damn cops catchin me in the wrong place at the wrong time(60 in a 50, no headlights(long story), and speed exposition(wot thru 1st and 2nd, sideways round a turn)... all with in a week and a half.....
I had a problem with my gears and it ended up just beign the cable that needed to be replaced.

Cool!

I ended up finding out the previous owner tried to spot weld the quadrant section back together and that left me stranded. I am trying to find a new clutch pedal assembly (ebay is your friend). That should fix my problems all together. I was dreading having to get a new one. I have no idea how to fix it, but I guess I would learn, good thing it's not my DD - :P

yeah dude if its not destroyed you can get away with not resurfacing it - just use the scuffy wheels or a sanding block or whatever ya got to knock the slick finish off it. actually a sanding block with fine grit paper would be best cause those little abrasive "cookie cutter" wheels will leave your once flat surface nice and wavey
