Default aode advise

Hi all my aode in my 95 stang has taken a d--- and im lookin to replace it with either an aode from performance automatic, lentech or level ten. car has mild motor mods for now but will in the future replace the 302 with a 351 punched to either a 408 or 427.ive done the rear with 4.10`s 31 splines and and auburn carrier. suspension has been done torque boxes beefed and the motor will be last. I do not want to replace the tranny again so overlill is ok. car will be a daily driver (5000 miles per year) and well go to the track on tues nites and make 5 or 6 runs weekly.Just lookin for pros and cons on the company choices ive narrowed it down to. Also im looking hard at the Performance industies "Stallion" torque conv. or the lentech 9.5 unit. I will stay with the aode trans only with a manual valve body so the electrics is gone. Looking for reliability of product and best performance package.PI states in the literature that a .7 sec quarter mile gain using the stallion. Dont know about lentechs TQ but any advise will be greatly apprieciated. Also help with advise on Lockup Or non Lockup TQ. Im just a 50 y/o drag racer transplanted from the west coast to the east coast. I still love the car and will never sell it. Stock the car ran 16.2 and we have down to 14.70 as of now. in future looking at low 12`s or high 11`s

Lentech was where I was heading until I started considering a manual. Not sure if their converter is better than the stallion though...

Blasphemer...cast you out. No self respecting stanger will do that. The AODs and AODEs can be made strong enough for serious power...check out the Lentech site.

And did you know that a stock AOD tranny pulls the same Foot pounds as a stock manuallly clutch driven tranny.

Thanks im really looking forward to getting it lentech is building me a hybrid version of their strip terminator aode trans because i wanted the lockup featuere for street. should be here 15 jan. i also purchased their 9.5 lockup T/Q with a 2800 stall. these guys at lentech were real straight forward with me about my choices and i felt they were not just trying to sell me a trans. m sure the other companies are great also but i just liked the way lentech handeled it. i especially liked the warrany program in place. I feel real good about my choice , it should really wake up this 95 stang. i call her SNOWHITE because 1.) shes WHITE and 2.) were WAKING her up!!
