Default front sway bar question! help!

Hey i've got a rookie question here. I took my car in to get an alignment done and they said that the front sway bar end links are broken and that i have to get my front wheel bearings packed or something like that before they could do it. Can i just replace the sway bar, or is it more difficult then that like something on the body of the car or something, and as for packing the front wheel bearings, is that just greasing them?

if just the end links are busted, just replace those. you dont need to replace the whole sway bar.

and packing the bearings literally means, packing them with greese. you have to force greese between all the little wheels and the inner and outter rings so that every piece of metal that will be moving has greese on it.

If they said you just need to replace your end-links then it should be easy. Abouta 10 minute install. Should be able to pick up a pair of these at your local auto-parts store:

you bring up a very good point. the alignment shop shouldnt even be able to see your wheel bearings because they would have to remove the rotar to do it and thats not part of an alignment.

replace the end links with poly bushing ones...the wheel backing is BULL$HIT and easy money scam....if you didn't see them do it you will never know they did it. I do repack my wheel bearings once a year or 20k which is ever longer
