well an ambulance had a fire under the dash and now there is an engine for sale. What would it take to fit a 460 under the hood and how much in extra parts.

A 460 swap inst all that difficult i dont think. i know u can buy 460 swap engine mounts from 5.0 resto and i know u have to swap to manual brakes or relocate the brake booster farther back into the dash. u may be able to use a hydroboost system to make it a bit easier. with the mounts im guessing that you can still use the regular drivetrain. but have fun jacking up the engine to get to the spark plugs:D
the swap would be a hell of a torquer motor

Will there be any major fitment issues? Most kits i see say they are for foxbodies but will they work on an sn95? What kind of power or times wwould i be able to expect form a decent condition engine? are there any major parts of this that im jsut not seeing

the transmission is a brand new t5 with a stage 2 spec clutch. we would be getting the engine from a fellow who ownes a machine shop so we would be able to get some help from him as well

Holy balls I never heard of anybody trying to put a big block in an sn95 but all I have to say is SWEET!!!
