RE: A/C
Im not sure you guys know howcheap things are in Mexico [8D]
R-12 cans are $6
Recharging is free
for 300 bucks I could buy all the parts but I'd rather only replace the necessary stuff [8D]

Well, what condition is the system in? Does ir work at all? Why would you replace good components if you don't need to? Is there freon in it? You need to be a lil more specific!

RE: A/C
^ its illegal to get caught with it and NOT have a license to have it
anyway I scored at the junkyard, found an 87 5.0 T-bird INTACT, not a single thing is missing under the hood, [8D] Im taking the radiator, all the A/C components(its all coming out as one unit), IAC, whatever else I can find [8D]

RE: A/C
welp, I scored at the junkyard, a 1987 T-bird with a 5.0 was recently dropped off and I was the first to pick its carcuss The freon was still in the system, antifreeze was still there, basically you could tell it was well taken care of
scored every A/C component under the hood, even the 3-line radiator looked too good to leave :P everything came out to 130 bucks
now heres my tiny setback, the line from the condensor-to-firewall is not compatable, the firewall connection on my mustang is a 'screw-on' type, the line is the weird round connection that slides and locks together. >_<
