Default tire and rim question

I got me a set of those 10th anniversary Cobra rims and they are 17x9. The tires I have on my stock 95gt rims are 245/45 ZR17. Now my question is, will those tires fit on the 17x9 inch rim? Thanks for any input.

theyll fit, but 245's on a 9" wide rim will have problems with the curb so be careful. i would go with like 255 or 275 tires though

I figured that but I don't wanna spend 500 bucks on 4 new tires when the ones I got have less than 5k miles on them

The 10th Cobra's came with 275/40 tires on those wheels. But yeah when you can afford it I would suggest the 275's up front and 315's in the rear!!!!!
