thats interesting, what was its problems? just generally crap or were there specific issues? like throttle response, idle quality or something else?

i'll really like to know more - glad someone here has experience with them

ok heres a pic of my motor and i cant tell if the previous owner swapped the intakes out but it looks like it cause he painted everything with stupid colors....so dont make fun of me i didnt paint it i just put the msd on right now. are the spark plugs the same for e6 and e7 heads?

E6 heads use #2524 Autolites, E7 use #25

You name it, and it had a problem with it. It would idle for crap, had little to no power, and there was no real way to dial it in. There is a reason that the Holley/Demon is the most popular carb out there. They make power, are infinatly tunable and there is a size for any application you can think of.

i've always been a holley / demon fan, played with a carter / edelbrock we bought for a friends truck and i hated that damn thing

My dad always ran modified mud cars... Like these


He ran a predator carb for some time on a 460 and had good luck with them. He said they were very simple to dial in and made good power for the money... After running those and dual dominators, he went to the "flying toilet" fuel injection, and he ran that until he quit... It was a sweet setup... As far as the predators go, a lot of them are still run on these cars that make up to1800 horse on nitrous... So surely it will feed a little 302
