Paint My Pony Rims

Can any one give me advice on painting my pony rims ...

What to prep with

Should i sand them

What type of paint

I wannah keep the same color

Provided they don't have any deep scratches on them, I would just go over them pretty well with a green scotch bright pad to rough them up a bit. Then clean them with wax and grease remover or prepsol. You can probably skip using primer if the base paint is good and no bare metal is showing. I didn't use any primer when I painted mine and have yet to have any chipping. When I painted my wheels I used the Argent (sp?) Silver Ford paint that 5.0 Resto sells since its an exact match.
