take a bone stock 5.0 and put an intercooled turbo kit on it and you will hit 400rwhp easily

What are you planning on using the engine for?
Ther is a great differance in a street motor made for criusing and a race motor for the strip................

Sorry....but I have to do it......[sm=bs.gif] ......why don't we see low 11S 302 or 306 cars even with the AFR top end kits then?......WAKE UP!......

Suggestion....if you have the money, don't go crazy spending on parts that will not ensure you accomplish your expectations......look for the information and proof, plan it, and then spend it wisely. Why would you limit your selection to a 331 stroker, if a 347 should, and will be better?......."there's no replacement for displacement".......take your time.

400rwhp n/a is going to take alot of real good planning and expensive stuff! trust me u will spend a min on 4K on just the engine alone. i wish i would have done it differently now...since im in the proccess of putting my 331 together. if ur gonna go n/a go with the 347 to get all the ponys u can. turbo that bad boy with the little extra $ ya got get suspension! thats the best bang for the buck that i can tell now...

you are not going to hit 400RWHP with a N/A 331 Stroker, best bet is to go 347 and you can do it but $4000 isnt enough to get the job done, better off like everyone says do a HCI swap and then install a paxton novi 1000 w/ 8" crank pulley and youll get 400RWHP
