I just purchased and recieved a Racetronix gss340 fuel pump and wiring harness. The only problem is that the wiring harness comes with no instructions. Has any bought this setup and installed same. IF so and you have the instructions or can tell me how and what wires to attatch I would appreciate it. It also comes with a chasis ground. The one 10 gauge red wire states to attatch to the Pump power feed and the pink and white wire states to attatch to the Factory pump trigger. I have no clue where these are. Any help is appreciated

Does anyone know where to obtain these instructions or how to install a wiring harness that supplies constant 12 volt to the pump from the battery.

last time I checked, the fuel pump only had 2 wires.... power and ground

so all i need to do is cut the harness that goes to the fuel pump add my 12volt from the battery to the positive side and then the negative chasis wire to the negative. Just attatch the trigger to the wire that fires the pump. This wire is not attatched to the pump somehow? I hate buying things with no instructions.

wow... I never figured two wires was complicated...

GSS340 is nothing more than a walbro part number... you have the same 255lph pump as I do.. It has a connector that plugs into the pump, and should have come with two butt connectors. you cut the wires that plug into your stock pump, strip the ends back a little bit, strip the ends of the pump harness, and use the butt connectors to connect them.... its not rocket science

Hey thanks for that part but if you would have read my article it stated that the pump was installed. The kit comes with a wiring harness that runs from the battery to the rear of the car. The wiring is connected to a relay and a 40 amp fuse. It has a 10 gauge wire for the power and a smaller one that states trigger

If you goto to Racetronix.com and click under the fuel system with mustang amd it will show you a pic close up. I have all the wires installed in the car and just the ends hanging from the gas tank area.

you TOTALLY dont need all that other crap... just hook it up like a regular fuel pump
