i need new tires so i was wondering what is the largest size that will fit on the pony rims and will still fit under the car?

i'm looking at BF goodrich G-force 255/50ZR16 in the back and the 225/50ZR16's in back but i think 50 might be too tall

275/50-15 can fit on a 8" rim under a foxbody

I'm not sure what the maximum size is but I run 255/50/16 out back and 225/55/16 up front.

P225/55ZR16 is stock for 93 mustang and those are pony rims I think on them so 50 is fine you could go lower if you want. but its all up to how you like it and if it fits. I would say is go to a tire place. Like a real tire shop. Not like a sears. And just find out what can fit on your car.

I believe 255/50/16 is the biggest on the back. I currently run 245's but I am getting 255 DRs next. I run 205/55/16 on the front.
