Stock driveshaft, aluminum?

I put a magnet to my driveshaft and it didnt stick. Seems I have an aluminum driveshaft. Does anyone know if ford made aluminum driveshafts on stock mustangs? This one could be aftermarket.

It may be aluminum, I don't know if they came that way as an option or not but mine was steel until I replaced it with a Ford racing Aluminum unit.

I believe all the factory ones were steel. You more than likely have an afternarket unit.
