water pump install

Default water pump install

after a new radiator, an anew thermostat, im still runnin a little hot, so im gonna do the water pump,hoppin its not the head gasket[&:]
is there anything i need to look out for when changing the water pump? do i need a high flow pump?

I just did an H/C/I......probably (at least I hope) over 300hp.......I have a new OEMwaterpump, 180-degree Thermo....and an aluminum radiator......

It runs almost too cool.....in other words, I would go with an OEM pump.....The high flow pumps are only needed on real big applications

As far as what to watch out for.......make sure your get a good seal on the gaskets.....I put some gasket sealer on mine with the gaskets....no leaks
