Default a few questions

ok, so i am looking into trying to find a early 90's roller 351w block from a econoline van or the like and i have a few questions. down the line i'm going to be wanting to add a poweradder and would a hellion t62mm turbo kit fit on a 351w? and what would be an appropiate cam for this setup? and finally would the afr 185's and trick flow track heat intakes be enough for this setup? thanks for all the help.

hey just tell you what ive been told from the local speed shop where im at they recomend 205afrs for 347 and up c.i.d. thats naturally asperated with the hellion im sure you will probly run over those 185 heads although i have seen flow charts for 185 on 351 cid they work but 205 would be better especially if you run that hellion. ive heard afr has a real good help desk i would call them and tell them your set up plans.good luck. p.s im not beliving you cant run a 185 on a 351.

A 205 is WAYYYYYY too much head for a 347 unless it's race only. 185's are good for 347-408 depending on setup, 205's could go on a nasty 408 real nice, but on a 347 you'd need to turn a lot of rpm to make those heads work right. 185's work really well on 351 and 351strokers for street/mild race

You might have to have some custom fabrication done, but nothing that can't be done... As far as heads go, afr's are good heads, but i've heard you can do a lot more porting on trick flow heads... Good luck, gonna be a job switching to 351 especially if you wanna stay f/i

first things first, early 90's 351w werent roller yet it was mid 90's (94 to be exact and maybe 92 were capable or be rollers but no one has confirmed that for me) and dont limit yourself to one from a econline van, they came in alot of other cars.

second call up hellion and ask them what applications it would work on, they would be much better suited to help you with that question since must of the people here are N/A 5.0 people

as for cams, the best cam would be a custom grind cam that matches your complete setup, some here can point you in the right direction for finding a place to do that

afr 185s and the trick flow track heat intake would work fine, but it depends on what how much hp you want

you have to pick the numbers you want to accomplish then pick the right parts to achieve those numbers
