3.73 was not an option 3.08 was the option...2.73 was the standard for GT or LX. A/C freewheels at WOT and uses no HP so deleting it was just a waste of time...it draws no HP at all at WOT. Your car is faster...could be a million things..could be mechanical, could be driver, could be fuel quality, he could have a bad plug, fuel filter..need a tune..on and on..etc. Oh and if he's running one of those shiney CAI inlet pipes..he may infact he hurting the performance...note: a CAI by the way is not actually an intake . There are only a thousand variables as to why the cars perform differently.

That's like asking why one person is stronger than another when they're both the same size. Too many variables.

Do you both have similar compression test results as well. If your buddy is running 110 and you are running 150, you have a decent edge there as well. Just like in sports there are to many variables to assume anything. That is why we race'm. To prove that you are faster.

3.73s were never a stock gear in the 5.0s... try again...

I have the complete history of service for my car from the previous owner in a binder. There is no record of a rear end swap. My friend's car's previous owner was an old lady.... yeah im sure she had 3.73's put. These cars came stock with it whether u believe me or not.

I believe you believe you have 3.73's, but just for fun, go outside to your car. Open your door and tell us your axle code.
