Hey ive just recently painted my engine bay and all i did was grind down any rust then sand EVERYTHING with 60 grit sandpaper and then 3 coats of primer then 3 coats of paint ( i think it was a semi-gloss? i just know it was the colour i wanted). I'd post some pictures but im still trying to figure out how[&:]

what was the paint called? (not the color but the kind) and was it all spray can done?

hey tom how rust did you have in there? was there alot on the lower part of the strut tower?

it wasnt too bad down there but there was one section on the frame rail and a big chunk near the fenderwall passenger side corner which i cut out and put new pieces in. The paint was Dupli-colour spray paint(charcoal metallic) which i got from Canadian Tire. hopefully it holds up, i will find out then i start it next weekend if everything goes good.
