loving my new setup. third is my favorite!
all my mods are listed below. about 3 weeks ago i started my e303 swap. (in over my head) i wish i would have gone with a lunati cam but i had 1.7 rr and the e303 cleared the pistons just fine. i poped the covers and found that they were 1.72 rockers. now it would not clear so i had to buy 1.6ers so now i was stuck with the e 303, whatever it seems to be a GREAT set up.
put it all back together and found that because i re- used the head bolts, the head gasket blew. F***. it was honestly thee most discouraging thing and it was sooo discouraging. im 21 and a full time student who did this project for the first time by myself. i tore it appart and replaced the head bolts and gaskets in about 16 hours. the first time for the cam swap took me 45 plus hours! yea, im no mechanic. haha
got it all togather and now the car rips. the old cam, i measured with my caliplipers, had a total lift WITH the 1.72 rr had a .422 lift!! the stock cam has a .444 lift. the guy before me must have been a dumb ***. it dynoed at 210wrhp with all the mods listed below WITH OUT the e3o3 cam. WTF
now with accelerating really hard. without power shifting does a bit more that a small cherp in 3rd!! i just finised it and got all the kinks out. few!

yea. it had all the gt40 goodies on it. it WASa 1,5 firing order and now is a 1,3, the correct way. the car runs better than i thought. YES, i think it was a cam from the explorer. it had gobs of real low end torque and no upper end..... for towing towing probably....explorer.
