ORIGINAL: mustang30240

ever thought about going all 3"?
full 3 inch exhaust it pointless unless your making big power, and ob i will admit your car sounds ok at WOT but down low raspiness just isnt for me
Still say to get the "feel" for Magnapacks you MUST hear them in person.
That vid doesnt do it much justice...
If you heard them, you'd make the switch.

Personally and to upset OB I would go with 1-5/8" equal length shorties and you can go back from them with a 2-1/2" off road H-pipe and 2-1/2" cat back with whatever mufflers you choose to go with. this way you keep the O2 sensors in the stock location so there's no problem with the ECU controlling the engine and the pipes are not too large to kill low end torque either.

Yeah, but he doesn't have to pass emissions...
So why go with a less HP producing header?
Just for the ease of the install?[:'(]

I know you're wise and all knowing but Longtubes are Dyno Proven to make more power and torque.
And it sounds better too

if you like turning wrenchs, get the long tubes!!! i got them and never regret it... took me a while to figure out how to install them but now that i know i could do it in half a day.

perfect exhaust setup

Long tubes - catless H pipe - super turbo straight through muffler (any company) - dumps

Perfect Full would yield the most power
So it'd be Longtubes then Offroad X then a straight thru muffler
