i have a question bout a t bird 5.0, i cant seem to find any tbird forums really and figured you mustang guys would know better anyway lol!, what is the diff from a 5.0 out of a 86 t bird compared to a 5.0 out of a stang of the same year?? and if there is a diff can it take most if not all the same motor mods the stang 5.0 can??

well from what i can find through google whcih isnt much the t bird 5.0 made less HP then the stang 5.0, whats the diff from a 5.0 in a stang to a 5.0 in a tbird?? and can the tbird 5.0 take the same parts as the stang like heads and intake to gain more HP?? im lookin into a 86 tbird and its a great deal so i wanna get it but wanna make sure it has potential to be modded with stang parts

the stang 5.0 is a high output(h.o.) different cam different firing order and maybe a different c/r

yes just swapping out the cam and routing the spark plug wires make it a H.O.
