No alteezas, and Im sorry I didnt know what effect the cam would have on my stock motor. But why would I ask? You just said i could gain a few horses. Whereas Mattdel is pretty sure i will lose around 15. So can you blame me for not being sure?

basically, you will be changing how far and how long the valve's open. if your heads/intake aren't setup for that velocity, your going to lose power.

Simple answer. Don't do something cause you think it looks/sounds cool. That is what we call "Ricer" and your not a ricer are you? At the very least; rephrase your question to make us think your doing it for a good reason like:

"I got a free E-cam. Will installing it on a moderatly stock mustang with full exhaust increase my HP? Also what kind of idle will i have?"

Fair deal. I suppose that may sound "ricey", which isn't me lol. But PX, were you only saying that I could increase power to get me to go away (for sounding ricey haha)? Matt has me pretty sure of a decrease, which means I am NOT installing the cam

The cam I was recommend from Cam Help is bigger then an E cam. If you plan on doing more mods, install it. As you mod your stang you will notice that cam really wake up your car.

the exhaust alone will give you a very nice sound.
check out the Exhaust Sound sticky thread. stock motors with wide open exhausts sound pretty damned good, but they won't have any lope to them, which i think is what you are looking for.

Oh yeah one more thing. An E cam will require a tune.

Yeah, looking for lope. I guess I'll go with my original plan and just wait to do the H/C/I all at once. Thanks for working me through the confusion. Oh, one more question...any comments on Flowtech headers?
