Default Transmission question

I installed a rebuilt t5 into my 93 gt. It doesn't sit correctly. I know this because the shifter is not centered under the hole in the floor. It's closer to the passenger side of the car and sits too far back. My transmission is tight against the bellhousing and my bellhousing is tight against the motor and the transmission is on bolted on to the crossmember. I also don't know where my reverse lights plug into. The transmission shifts and runs fine and the clutch operates normally. I am certain it needs adjustment from the angle of the shifter and the angle of transmission but I don't know where to adjust it. The cross member only moves it up and down and I need it moved over and forwards. Thanks for the help. Here are some pictures.

This is the shifter in second gear.

Default RE: Transmission question

The transmission looks a little crooked right where it meets the driveshaft. I parked the car for almost a year before putting in a new transmission but I'm positive the ****er is not in the same place as it was. Does your 2nd gear position look about like that(stock shifter)? I am also confused as to how something like this could happen. I thought these kind of things were either installed or not installed..... Is it possible something could be broken? Such as a motor mount... causing it to lean? What would we be other symptoms of that? The motor looks fine in the engine bay and doesn't wobble around when I rev it. Also where does the reverse light sensor plug into?? I can't find a spot on the new transmission!
