351w has more power holding potential, A rebuild will cost about the same either way you go... so its really up to you

A guy on the forums had a 408 getting 17mpg. That can't be too much worse than what you're doing now

If you want boost later I would go with 351W
It will handle the extra power better than a 331 on a stock 302 block

If you have the money a 331 on a Dart block would be strongest and
best way to go.

Why not 347? Just currious, that's all.

351W and Turbo.... MPG shouldnt be an issue, if you are planning to go big cubes + Turbo... IMO...

If you want MPG, get a beater!

if you have the ability, then definitely a 351. MUCH more potential down the road.

400+ cubic inch stroker with a baby cam will still make tons of low end torque and wont kill you at the pumps

351 definately has more power potential, and a better rod/stroke ratio than a 331, it also doesn't weight too much more, like 75lbs I think? Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong.
