it saids tremec 13-52-066-939... i got hte think if it was a t-5 or not cuz my mechanic replaced in bout 8months ago cuz the tranny went out.... and i got a new shifter for it and its for a t-5 and i didnt kno if i was goin to run into problems with that... so can some1 tell me if its a t-5 or not... doesnt actualyl say t-5 i dont htink so i dunno for sure... thanks

A pic would be helpful. Most tremec trannies dont look like T-5's at all.

ya stock 5.0 fox's are borg warner. but didnt the newer stangs come tock with tremecs? or am i wrong? i thought the 4.6's did but maybe not

Ibelieve Tremec bought the patents out from Borg warner and improved the design. I think theyre actually T-45's not T-5's.

my stang a a t5 that says tremec on it i think like 90 or something they started using tremec instead of borgwarner

its a world class tremec t-5...... better gears and alittle bit stronger, a true tremec has 6 bolts around the shifter.
