Shifter Linkage

So someone took me for a ride in a auto mustang a few weeks ago and it shifted diffrently then any other auto I've been in and asked what he had done, turned out it was a shift kit oil cooler and some other things I had trouble keeping up with helped walk me through what to do. So I did everything up to the shift kit and things went well the tranny cooler alone was worth doing, so I went ahead with the shift kit. Yeah it shifts faster but I did'nt adjust the shifter linkage which was in the manual and I wish I had done that last part as I had the manual get ruined that same afternoon rushing to get the cover on before the rain beat me. Park is now drive [X(]lol which I know would relate to the shifter linkage but with the shift kit in I dont know if I can just adjust it like I've done before as its got mods in the transmission itself. Anyone have a copy of that manual they can scan or explain how to adjust it I mean if I can just adjust the linkage as if there were no shift kit then I'm good but I did'nt want to go any furth before asking.
