Default Summit Racing Parts

Has anyone here used Summit's ignition system? It looks like it is just a rip off of Mallory and its really cheap. I realize you get what you pay for but after comparing the two it seems like the MSD 6A isnt worth the extra sixty bucks. But then again they are the most popular for a reason. Just looking for some feedback before I buy.

yeah i thought it was commonly known their stuff is made by everyone else, i think i was looking at bolts and theirs had arp stamped on them. if it looks like mallory stuff it probably is, mallory makes good stuff, they also make accel stuff which is alright.... but the HI-6 Crane is the way to go.

Yea, recently installed a set of summit uppers and lowers, they went in fairly easy and fit well.

Summit simply stamps there name on other products...and sells it at a cheaper price.

If you call them, they will tell you what it is...I would make sure that you are happy with the "Real" product underneath before buying anything...

I bought their Summit Fuel Pump....it was a Walbro....the same as BBK, but for a fraction of the price
