I heard that when you put 4 cylinder springs on the front, they are weaker so they let the front end come up more and transfer more weight over the rear wheels.

ok so let me get this straight. i remove the front springs from a 4 banger stand and use them for my rear? if it makes me launch well, how will that setup affect handling?

you put the 4 cyl springs in front, you take them out of the front of a 4cyl, and put them in your front, so weight transfer is sent to the back wheels for better hook up and go

will they hurt handling? i want something meant for drag but i want to keep just a little handling. thanks.

also, are those 4 banger springs a good idea. i dont feel like spending any more money so ill just get what works for now. what do you say about those roundy?
I put mine on after I took my Stang off road but I don't think they will negatively affect your handling on the street, at least they don't seem to affect it driving around the pits or down the track at 100 mph!

LS1mustang is running stock springs up front and 4 banger notch springs in the rear of his 92 hatch. As for it hooking up youll have to ask him about it.

I DONT GET IT.... PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME SEPERATE THINGS!!! ohsoquik you say to use the 4 banger front springs in the rear of my car... other people say use the front 4 banger springs in the front of my car... i think you are right tho ohsoquik i dont understand why putting softer springs in the front would help any, but soft springs in the rear would allow the rear to squat real fast and front end to come up... i assume you are right
