I'm going through the 351W swap right now actually, I should have her running in about two weeks.
It's worth the extra money dude, the 351's alot tougher than a 302 ever could dream of being.

Ive been running a windsor in my stang since 1989 and youdont need all the fancy things everone talks about eitheroil pansI run the one out of a 1992 ford f150 with a 351 windsor cost 56 bucks pan and pick up tube.Only need a harden gear if its a roller cam, flat tappet camcast or steel is fine cost 40 bucks.Headers 200 bucks shorty swap headers 5-liter h-pipe will work just fine.Motor mounts run morse soild on the motor,rubber on the trans.If you go carb and run a eldebrock rpm intake and a 1/2 inch spacer it will fit under thestock hood.If yopu want PM me your email address andI will send you photos off everything I talked about just so you have some info.looking forward to helping you.Use a summit forged rebuild kit cost 500 bucks.
