More BOI ?'s
speaking of company brand stuff.....has anyone used the blue oval industries typhoon intake?? i wanna buy it because it says "exact same as the edelbrock performer only 200 dollars cheaper!!" i called and asked the guy and he sent be a dyno chart for 5.0 mustang. 14 hp increase on completely stock parts nothing changed on the stang. is that good? he also said it is the exact same just not as smooth and refined as the edelbrock. would it be worth buying and cleaning up with a dremel and then putting it in. i like to save the money as long as there isnt that much a difference. or should i go with the edelbrock?

if you look up member luckythirteen13.
he has a pic of his motor with the intake on it. I didnt get mine thru BOI because when i called the guy after talking to him online he changed our deal on something so i asked him about it and he just started calling me every name under the sun. He was a real ******* so i went thru someone else

i know, i called pro products because boi doesnt carry specs on their products which is really weird IMO. and also when i got in contact with pro products they dont have specs on the product either which was also weird. all they sent me was a dyno sheet from a stock mustang with just the intake changed and then a warrenty paper and install directions

RE: More BOI ?'s
Blue oval is the main supplier I use...John the owner has been the most responsible respectful rep I have had the privledge of dealing with. I run the Typhoon intake on my car, it's a tad too much for a stock headed car but a great alt for the RPM which I did run previously. My Typhoon is box stock unported and judging by my numbers in the sig I'd say it's an excellent intake for the money. I replaced the RPM intake due to a casting issue and to compliment the theme of polished alum under the hood...install was typical intake install, nothing unusual or problematic in the least.
HMMM... I think I have a pic of the intake...oh yeah here it is

the motor in my sig has the typhoon intake. i cleaned up the castings with a dremel and its pretty nice. my last motor dynoed 461rwhp with the typhoon on it so it flows pretty decent. i wont be using it much longer tho because im going to be switching to an efi spyder
