You can get new bolts from Ford. That's what I did. Is it one of the bolts that goes through the timing cover into the block or one that threads into the timing cover? Either way, you can try using a stud extractor or a pair of vice grips to get it out. I ended up having to take off the timing cover cuz it broke off flush and had to drill it out.

G/L!

USE PENETRANT!!!! Wd-40, PB, something!!!! Spray the snot out of it and give it some time to work in there, because if you don't and it's galled in there and you try to get it out you might just tear up the threads on the timing cover(remember, it's aluminum), and cause even more grief

yea before i tried taking the bolts out, i sprayed the hell outta them and let em soak for like an hour while the car cooled, and the i would loosen a little then tighten a little and worked em out like that, but the one just snapped..luckily it was only one, and it was at the top...hey bernie, where did you get yours from, im up in olney, is there a dealership around that would have em? and how much are they ?

if its screwed into the block, take the rest out, take the timing cover off, and use some heat on the block.

Oh yeah, when you put it back together use anti-sieze or moly lube, then you won't have this problem
