cougar rearend?

Default cougar rearend?

are there any cougar 8.8 rearends from cougars that can fit without too much mod. in an '87 mustang or do they not fit at all?

they fit but the only one with traklock is 7.5 not 8.8 as far as i know, they donĀ“t like to much abuse and clutches are hard to find

bump... anyone else know? I ask because aroundnortheast wisconsinfoxbody parts are very hard to come by.

the mm12 t-brid had the same rear end. get one from a super coupe. they had 3.27's or 3.55s with traclock. btw they have IRS you know....its gonna take some custom work.

you can take a 86-88 turbo coupe rear out of a tbird and put it in the back of a fox, they are a 8.8 and 373 locking rear AND rear disc! The only complaint I have aboot it is that it is wider and that makes my wheels rub but if you get the proper backspacing, you will be fine. They were also soild axles in those years.
